What is life coaching?
Coaching is a collaboration that helps you clarify what you want, realize your potential, and increase your overall well-being. Unlike therapy, coaching does not diagnose or treat mental illness, nor focus on the past. Instead, coaching focuses on where you are, where you’d like to be, and how to get there. (video)

Why life coaching?
You are ready to make change, big or small. You might want to switch careers, design the next phase of your life, or purse a long-deferred dream. You might want to get unstuck, manage stress, break unhealthy habits, develop new routines, or tap into greater motivation and energy. The sky is the limit! (video)

What is the life coach's role?
As your coach I’m a facilitator. I’m an ally and, if helpful, an accountability partner. I don’t give you answers. I don’t tell you what to do. I help you to open to answers and to tap into the motivation and energy to envision and embark on a path forward. You set the agenda. I’m here to support you. (video)

Who is my ideal client?
My ideal client is excited for change—even if possibly a little apprehensive—and eager to engage in the internal exploration and external effort it requires. They have likely already done some personal development work. They have an open mind, patience, and a sense of humor, as well as a commitment to transformation. (video)

What happens in a session?
Sessions last 45 - 55 minutes, take place on Zoom, and begin by identifying a topic. We might then explore using techniques and questions that foment introspection, challenge limiting beliefs, and expand your sense of possibility. We also identify concrete steps to move you toward your goals. (video)

How is my approach different?
Sometimes we get “stuck in our heads,” overwhelmed by analysis paralysis. As a Human Potential Coach, I not only leverage traditional coaching approaches but often take embodied ones to help get you out of your head and into your body, facilitating access to whole other, often-overlooked levels of guidance and insight. What are some of the techniques?
Somatics; behavioral modification; breath work; polyvagal theory, i.e., nervous system regulation; creative visualization; positive neuroplasticity, i.e., creating new neural pathways; and more are just a few examples of what can come into play in our sessions.
-
How often and many sessions?
While I have had clients make powerful breakthroughs in just one session, most meaningful, enduring change takes time. The minimum number of sessions is typically four, meeting either weekly or every other week. Most clients meet for a six-month period.

What is a discovery call?
Is coaching for you? Am I the right coach? Are you the right client? On a free 30-minute Zoom call, we get acquainted, discuss your interest in coaching, and assess whether we are a good fit. Schedule a free discovery call here.
-
How are payments made?
After our discovery call, you receive a link to a page where you choose to pay by credit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, or Zelle. Payment is made in two installments: half of the amount up front, and half upon package completion, at which time you receive an invoice for the amount due.

Why "Have Fun Falling"?
At an important personal juncture, I had a powerful dream in which I was told not merely to “jump” but to “have fun falling.” Not only taking risks but also opening to and fully engaging with the ensuing uncertainty has been a guiding life principal ever since.
